The singer Kirsten Siggaard will join the jury , if, in connection with this year's Market maintaining a youthful Eurovision Song Contest .
It is run jointly between the Municipal Music School and the Market Committee , and as the former Danish Eurovision Song Contest winner even appear in the market tent on Sunday 23 May so Kirsten Siggaard also agreed to be a jury member when she was not even on stage .
Most of Sunday will go to settle Youth Grand Prix in the tent , where they will compete in two age classes, namely for young people up to 15 years and for young people between 15 and 19 years.
The contest is only for amateurs , but they must stand in all genres of music . Each group plays one-two numbers of your choice, which can be either copy music or original compositions . It is not allowed to act for playback . Kirsten Siggaard and the jury will then hand out prizes for best group in each age group for best stage performance and for best original compositions .
Also in both age groups .
Registration deadline for the music school is 23 April and if registered for
many groups , participants will get to after " first come first served "
Last year, for the first time held the Grand Prix in the Sindal Market , and here , a total of 13 groups . - There is a growing interest in acting , and being formed many groups around , said Kirsten Siggaard .
We have found a niche that we
believe will attract more than last year. We have extended the time so we can
have up to about 20 groups , according to music school leader.
